The color play in this vintage aurora borealis crystal brooch is just amazing! The faceted crystals just shine with the colors of the rainbow.
This pin measures about 1 3/8" & the way the outer crystals are arranged, it looks like a star with six points. The innermost crystals are topped by prong-set rhinestones.
All of the crystals are attached to a silvertone metal frame by head pins - none of them are glued in. The pin has some weight to it & is very well made.
There is slight darkening of the disk on the back of the pin, but otherwise it is in excellent condition!
