Advance Readers Copy / Uncorrected Proof trade paperback edition of The Far Pavilions by M. M. Kaye (St. Martin’s Press, 1978). Very rare pre-publication edition with limited distribution, intended to garner reviews and for grassroots promotion. Historical fiction bordering on the fantastical. Moderate wear to covers including creases, bumped corners, rubbing and small tears around the edges. Reading creases to spine, and binding is beginning to weaken a bit though all pages remain attached. Binding glue is visible in gutters between text block and covers. All pages are clean and unmarked save for some discoloration and blemishes around the outer edge of text block. See photos for condition.
