Product is transferred to storage tanks through closed pipes and is kept in closed tanks. Product is heated to >160°F at some point in the process which makes survival of pathogens not likely to occur. MORE PROFITABILITY. The higher SAPs will result in slightly more soap by weight because the weight of the oil and the additional alkali results in a hight yield of soap.
